What is Area Referencing?
Area Referencing is the accurate calculation of the various areas within a building either as a whole or floor by floor. We produce full Building Area Reports to cover GIA, NIA and IPMS.
How does it work?
We provide area calculations with highly accurate general arrangement plans, so that you can see exactly what has been included in the areas. Should there be any discrepancies from historic area documentation we can easily show from our laser scan data what the state of the demise was on the date of the survey. This proves to be particularly useful when you have challenging tenants.
How do we do it
Whereas most surveyors rely on hand held measuring devices we apply our skill, expertise and knowledge of laser scanning to accurately map every nook, cranny and wall deviation in order to produce the most accurate of area calculations.
